Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S) Is a disorder that occurs when the body does not have enough energy to support both sports performance and internal health.

 

As a result, systems in the body stop working properly.

 

At first, you may only notice subtle symptoms like a decrease in your training response, fatigue, or moodiness. As the body continues to deal with RED-S, it can affect your menstrual cycle, immune system, bones, and even your heart.
